The Mermaid Inn is a charming restaurant in the style of a seafood shack that one might stumble onto while walking along the beach—except that it happens to be located in the East Village. When sibling restaurant Mermaid Oyster Bar followed, the iconic ladyfish was flipped and a pearl choker was added around her neck.
